I need to fabricate a front trim piece so I cut another piece and using the same router technique, I produce a slightly bigger rounded shape.
Then using an even BIGGER hole saw, I cut two holes like I did before.
Then using the jigsaw, I cut the middle out creating a solid piece of trim. Not necessarily an efficient use of solid oak but then, neither are the use of rounded corners, I'm going for style people! I also cut out a similar piece for the back with a square opening for the cables but it wasn't as elaborate a process or as interesting, and I didn't seem to take any pictures of it.
